Update Time 4/25/12

Time for an update, this tank has evolved a good bit since I first posted pictures. I got impatient and decided to steer away from natives. Some of the plants died and I replaced them with others. I have a pair of Kribs, they have been tending to their first spawn. The fry are about 2 weeks old now. Drawing inspiration from the riparium crew and the Planted HOB thread I added some additional plants in that regard.

Trying to get java moss to grow in the output ramp

Dont know what kind of plant this is, found it at the lake.

New roots!

several of the plants were "wetlands" plants which often don't do well if submerged for long periods of time.

Fish will be Blue spotted sunfish, sawcheek and/or swamp darters and top lined minnows as dither fish

When spring hits and stuff starts growing back I will get more plants. Holding off on fish till the wife allows me to spend some money on it. For now there are a few pond snails in there.
