The Trigger Yeah I got a call today. Got to pick my double red cacatuoide pairs right out of the bag. I took the nicest ones. Better get there before they're gone lol.

Rush3737 Ah dammit, been meaning to see Appistos up close as I've only ever seen pictures. I'm leaning towards my next tank being Appisto based, so I'll have to make sure I make it back there to look at some point.

The Trigger Nemos got a massive fish order in today. Appisto cacatuoides, macmasteri, agasizzi and panduro. Also a bunch of rare killifish.

billfromreading Can someone post the address of this place? I'll be down in North Wales on Saturday visiting relatives and might make a detour to check it out.

Rush3737 As far as the fish area goes, not much as far as salt water, and certain freshwater fish like Barbs were lacking in selection big time, but when it comes to Cichlids and plants their selection is huge. I mean the plants may not be anything rare, but there is no other store I've went into (remember, not from a great area, especially for plants) that I've left thinking I could got plenty of healthy plants with enough variety to fully do any tank I wanted.

Just got back to my office and look forward to getting home in 2 hours for my first attempt at connecting moss to rock and soaking/then placing the driftwood in the my tank.

scapegoat still disappointed in how they changed the fish area.

that being said, their stock is pretty good for fresh water. I was surprised to see a tank w/ kribensis and congo tetra ($9.99/congo holy crap! and i want 20-40) and even had Ctenopoma acutirostre.

their plant selection is always fairly decent. not sure if you're going to find anything rare there or not.

le0p I was here a couple weeks ago, I was pretty impressed. They had a full plant stock and not just the normal petsmart stuff and everything looked healthy. The freshwater section looked good, the place isn't huge but they have a nice selection of fish and the tanks looked healthy at the time. I always check out the saltwater section too, but this could use improvement, there were a lot of empty tanks, dirty tanks, and some not so good looking fish.

Overall, it's the best LFS within 30 minutes of me (that I know of), I have one 2 miles from my house but their fish section literally makes me sad. Enough that I do all my shopping at petsmart for stuff I need quickly like feeders and products.

I'll be going back this week to pick up some stuff for my new tank, if the selection of plants is anything like the last time I was there, I'll be happy.

Rush3737 So, maybe this is me coming from a smaller market with chain stores and one nice (but small) LFS, but this place was AWESOME.

I was across the street for work and had some extra time so I figured I'd see if anything of interest was in the area and this popped up so I stopped in... the selection of Cichlids and Plecos especially was great, and there were a ton of plants to explore. Sad I only had 10 minutes to spend there, but I'll definitely be back at some point on the way to/from a Flyers game to spend some more time looking through the place.
