BDoss1985 I recently saw there's new variety's now and was wondering if anyone has tried the Morning Wood Xylivore Gel with their BN plecos? If so how'd it do?
I use my jar of community quite often to add some variety.

The feeding frenzy.

One interesting fact though, my ottos eat all types of repashy. Community Plus, SPawn and Grow, and Soilent Green, doesn't matter, they are going for it.

flwrbed Well, i just got around to trying this food. It does smell a little while mixing it, but not as bad a liver and onions.

I didn't like the spawn and grow as much as the meat pie, and it does leave a bad aftertaste. The little bits come right out with a tooth pic so that was no big deal. I think Allan is right, the "mouth feel" is much better than flake or pellet.

Every fish i have is eating it with gusto, So i will just let them eat it. They seem to enjoy it more than me, and my chips keep breaking when i try to dip. Maybe i should use more water?

Maybe next time.

Kudaria Well I've finally gotten around to trying out the Meat Pie for my betta Liberace and it's a definite hit with him.

Also as a suggestion you can buy a mini ice tray and pour the liquid mixture into it, freeze, and once frozen twist the food cubes out and store them in a freezer bag. The cubes are 0.5"x0.5" and I make 90 of them with the standard 1/4 c dry mix.

Kudaria Has anyone tried feeding this food to a betta? I'm ordering a variety and am wondering how much I should put in for him at a time. I feed him 10 Hirakau betta pellets twice a day, which I'm sure is more than he needs, but he's always looking at me as if he's hungry whenever I stand in front of the tank.

laqu i have shrimp only, so shrimp Souffle right?

so i have to 'make' into food? can i just put it on a 'feeding rock'

about the blue shrimp thing, i have some blues will it affect color?
what about whites?
and my yellow shrimp (which is actually a cool bright green) ... i have a couple of things i need from you so and as i want to make monday's deadline i'll also pm (but thought other's might have same questions.)
09-13-2012 09:00 PM
msjinkzd it could, though yellow is usually the color affected. It can make blue bluer,a s well
09-13-2012 04:30 PM
rrastro Some of my blue velvets went a bit green. I wonder if that had anything to do with it...

msjinkzd Just be cautious of using hte shrimp souffle with yellow shrimp, the carotenoids int eh foods can make then get a bit green, lol.

Doesn't seem to effect other species.
