oldpunk78 I gave you a like. I'd go if you guys weren't a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive.

Hoppy The Sacramento Aquatic Plant Society is very dormant for now. Our meetings have been attended by 2-4 people, our website has very limited traffic, and nothing seems to change any of that. It was suggested that a Facebook page for the club might be a stimulus that can get us back on track. So, I set up one, https://www.facebook.com/sacaquaticp...homepage_panel Please visit the page and "like" it, and/or suggest what would make it more effective. I don't know if any other local planted tank groups have tried this, but if you know of some, let's look at their Facebook pages to see what we might do to make ours work.

Hoppy It is hard to keep people interested in meetings without having some kind of program each time. When we had the most consistent attendance we also had a presentation of some kind at each meeting. Arranging the meetings takes time, and eventually the one doing it just runs out of ideas and time. We are at the stage where we are waiting a "white knight" to appear, with new ideas, enthusiasm, and plenty of time.

MaStErFiShKeEps There are meetings every month, it's just about whether or not people go to them. Check the SAPS calendar for the meeting days. There was one yesterday, and the next one is next month.

Smitty06 Hey Hoppy, I was wondering if SAPS as still have active meetings? I just started to get back into the planted tank arena and I was wondering if you guys are having monthly or bi-monthly meetings still. Sorry if I got your hopes up about finding the PAR meter with this post. Hope it turns up soon

Hoppy No response yet on the PAR meter. I assume it is resting under someone's planted tank.

Hoppy It seems that our S.A.P.S. PAR meter is hiding in someone's closet! We have lost track of where it is. Does anyone know where it is or how to locate it? Too bad there isn't an APP for that

The bike thing is a killer!! A 5 pound CO2 bottle can be heavy when full, and is always very cold right after it is filled. Anyway, the only place I can recommend is in W. Sacramento, a long bike trip.

puopg Hey Who has the PAR meter and can it be brought to the meeting this coming month? I need to measure the light in my tank. Thanks!

puopg Yo anyone have a lot of fast growing plants that they can trim for me? My new tank is getting algae and I need to add more plants until everything else grows in. Thanks!
