Yeah, they aren't fun (the restrictions), but what are ya going to do! I'll have to make the trip down sometime in future years, that's for sure!


About the whole young hobbyists thing... How could I not keep it up???

Ah yes, the restrictions of a teenager. I was going to say, I think some folks from Green Bay are coming down and you can catch a ride with them, but being 14 (which is fairly young, though I'm only 24 ), your parents probably wouldn't oblige.

MAAH - Fall Fish Fest 2011

The Madison Area Aquatic Hobbyists is proud to announce our first weekend event: FALL FISH FEST - 2011

This event will include:
* box sales of livestock
* vendor tables
* raffles
* speakers
* pizza party/hospitality suite w/keynote presentation of The Breeders Challenge by Mike Hellweg and Ted Judy
* livestock auction on Sunday

Date: October 29 & 30, 2011

Our speaker lineup will be a little different. We do have keynote speakers (Mike Hellweg, Matt Pederson & Ted Judy), but we want to fill out the schedule with mini-talks from YOU. If you are willing to give a 20-minute presentation on an aquarium topic, we will give you a weekend pass with pizza party for the event. For more information, please contact Ted Judy at tudy@tedsfishroom.com . We need to have the lineup in place by mid-September, so if you want to be a part of the fun please act fast.
