wetbizquit dude.... awesome layouts, i loved that fist one when the carpet was so green and lush... ugh i want that for my tank! it killed me to see you rescape but it was a risk worth taking, looks good... and now it looks like a scene from world of warcraft or something ha ha ha even though i have never played that game.... good work either way keep it up!

dubvstudent Its been a while, and I kinda let the tank go. But it is never too late for a rescape.

Got some manzi off plantbrain and went to this setup:

I left it like that for about 3 months, I never really got use to it, It just seemed rather unbalanced to me.

This week I changed it up again. I think its going to turn out nicely after it all matures again.

dubvstudent Keep meaning to redo this thing...

I have some new wood (manzy) on the way. Guess I'm going to soak it for a month or two then dive in.

dubvstudent Never got around to a major rescape on this thing. Got on the SnS and traded a few trims with other members as well. It has grown into a much more diverse tank than I ever thought was possible in a 15 gallon. Here are a couple of pics of the progression:

dubvstudent These will probably be the last views I will post of the tank in its current configuration. I like it but its grown old on me.

dubvstudent Some new growth. I need a to get to trimming.

I think these two are in love:

dubvstudent Well... Didn't like the last scape so I grew out some of my other stems in another tank and recombined...

I have been having problems growing HC. Ever since I installed the 2213 pieces started coming up and were harder to re-root. I have messed with the flow and hopefully it comes back to some extent.

I also added some crypts and switched up the hardscape a bit. I think I will enjoy the matured outcome a little more this time.

ktownhero I think the new rescape is worth giving time to grow in. With the stems reaching the surface all the way around and a carpet in the "bowl" in the middle, I think it could end up being quite attractive!

dubvstudent Rescaped:

Not the best pic. Not sure if I'm happy about it yet either.

First though is that it is a bit too symmetric. I think it will look good when it grows in though.

What do you think?

sewingalot I must say this is a HUGE improvement! These stems look so much better with the scape. You've made it to my favorites list now. Actually a little green around the eyes with envy.
