JACimages need some advice! what liquid ferts should i be using with the Seachem Flourite. im using a DIY co2 and have lighting on about 10 hr a day. as of now im dosing it with Seachem FLourish but im guessing i need more.

JACimages its over the tank. it really lights the front. the hood limits the light spread. many people use it for other nanos so i figured it cant hurt and even if i want to start another nano i can steal it. its only like 25$ so its a great investment i would say a great "Mod" for the edge

KJoFan By "home depot light" what do you mean? I have not seen this particular mod.

Your tank is looking good. I'm expecting one of these tanks to arrive any day now and I can't wait to get it set up!

Do you plan to leave the extra light over it at all times or to somehow integrate it all under the hood?

JACimages So alot has happened since my last post. i got my MRr11's and what a difference.. they are a little blue but make the green of the plants pop!

since than i have made a diy co2 system using a mr Aqua reactor/bubble counter, and yesterday did a full rescaping. added java moss, more HC, spread the HG, and changed the substrate to the Flourish fluorite. i was going to do a dry start but some of the plants already in there wont light that. im still worried about lighting but we will see as time comes

I would like to see a pic with the 2 mr1LED bulbs. Did you have to get a driver or just screw it in existing hood?

Are you going to make a LED light system with just 2 LEDs?
yea its just the replacement 2 mr11 LED bulbs. i did the 10w upgrade and it works wonders.. im still waiting for my dritwood to release all the dannis. it seems that this wood is gnarly.

i saw yesterday that my anubis is growing! but im still waiting so i can do a rescaping
