nemosreef Tank is looking good. I would have to agree and say you might consider taking out the driftwood and useing just the rock.

globali Nice but the woods are
not playing power role,
therefore u may consider
re-design only with rocks.

Digital So I changed up some things since the beginning... I realized I had TOO MUCH LIGHT w/o using any CO2, so I took down the Coralife 65x2 light and replaced with 2x40 6500k Hagen T8's.

I added a few more plants and put rootmedic root tabs into the substrate around the plants. The tabs do help I must say. Even with a low tech setup like this one.

Here are a few pics of the tank and a couple of my prized fauna.... A veiltail GBR!

Comments always welcomed!

Digital DAY 3

Added some swords, and anubias. 3 giant danios to help with the cycling. Got everything you see today for 19$ out the door at petco.

Can't beat that.

Digital DAY 2!

1 LIGHT ON

BOTH LIGHTS ON

FTS CLOSE UP

Tomorrow I'm going to Petco to pick up a anubis (sp) and a nice sword with many baby swords on the runners, maybe a couple more, just to help the cycle out.

I took the dark driftwood from my 90g to help the cycle speed up a bit as well...

I haven't really put much thought into it, was looking for suggestions. In my 90g I have swords, and jungle vals, so something possible easy to grow to start off....

I have 6 congos in my 90g, and I love them, I'd think they would need more swim space though, the 37g is only 30" and the 90g is 48" so that extra space I think they really enjoy....

If I did only congos, how many? 7-8?

Digital The lighter pieces of driftwood aren't in their permanent positions, they just have to get water logged first... Had them from another tank and they dried out. ;P
