Tmuck44 Thats a good idea to put otos in it. I have a school of them in the 20L but would have never thought to put them in the 3 gallon. Ill probly end up doing that!

somewhatshocked What about Otos?

Ideally, you'd keep them in a school of at least six. But a few would do really well in the tank with shrimp. They're also filled with personality.

VJM I considered 3 male least killifish. I also had one of my bettas in mine for awhile, Honestly, I just have shrimp in it now, and that seems about right. If I had least killis and shrimp I don't think I would see the behavior I do from the shrimp. The tank size just forces them in contact with the fish.

ADJAquariums I would go just shrimp, as for fish that could go in... I cant think of many, maybe a few chili rasboras, but that's really pushing it, especially with shrimp already in the tank

Stocking a 3 Gallon Long

What if any "micro" fish would be alright for a planted 3 gallon tank with shrimp?
