20 gallon long. 30" Fugeray. Love it so far. Was worried it wouldn't be enough light, but with the height of the tank the light is more than enough.

Ach1Ll3sH33L Hi Lowe, have you guys been testing any new led bars to focus more on getting the reds out of the plants? I loved my finnex ray 2 on my 12 long, but my red stems just faded out so i got rid of them. I now have this same light on a 48 gallon, and im tempted to get a fugeray to get to high light at my substrate, but i would love something that had more focus on reds,, dont want to pull the trigger on a fugeray if you guys have something in the works already.
btw.. love the sleek looks of the finnex!

Miles03 I have a nano saltwater tank biocube 14 and I just got my LED drivers wet and need a new light. I don't have any finnex lights at the moment but will take plenty if you send me the light...either way would be interested in seeing pics and specs so I can get a new light

laqu i have a nano 8x8x8 (12" is perfect for the light) but not marine... betta .. the blue's make him show off his dragon scales perfect... not to mention buddha and the glass rocks 'glow' with the blues.

without blues

with my finex fugeray held with blue lights directly over buddha - it get's glowy (the effect wanted in this case)

BETTA and blue lights = wow...

(my red one looks better too.. but as he's not feeling a 100% i didn't want to upset him with the camera too much and he NEVER stands still)

i WISH i had a nano marine

The lights looks fantastic, it is much much brighter than the stock light on the Fluval Spec 5 and I believe is the appropriate choice for low-medium light on a 5G at approximately 11-12" above the substrate.

Thank you all that contributed to my questions!
I concur. I just swapped out the fluorecent hood light with the 20" FugeRay and dayumn! Everything looks so purdy and my java ferns and riccia are pearling. I too was going back and forth on the Fugeray and RayII and all I have to say is that I am quite happy with the FugeRay.
