If any one wants a "starter" amount. I would be happy to send some in a small baggy in an envelope to my Ohio peeps. Best way to get it going is to tie individual "leaflets" to a piece of wood. You can also use netting to wrap leaflets to a small object. The nice thing about fissidens is that it is a native moss. It is also slow growing so doesn't require a lot of maintenance but will be overtaken if you have algae problems.

PM me your address if interested. Be aware I do have snails in my tank.

Mishmosh How much are you looking for? You know I started mine with a purchase off aquabid. It was maybe 20-25 leaflets in a tiny bag. tied it to a piece of wood and it slowly took.

Fissidens fontanus in Columbus or Cinci?

I'll be passing through Cinci tomorrow evening after work. Does anyone have an Fissidens fontanus or know of a store that might stock it?
