Fat Guy Heh heh

Thank ya thank ya.

I'm still not 100% happy with it. I don't think I'll ever be. I'm waiting to grow out the Alternanthera and the millfoil. I'm starting to thin the Ammeni out more to get more light to the front.

The pearl weed's just kind of thrown down there. I think I may trim it and replant it not so high.

Any suggestions?

Fat Guy Added some more riccia and a few extra stems of Alternanthera. Hopefully I'll get some good growth.

Fat Guy unbelievable how much that stuff grows.

What do you think of the re-landscaping effort in the 29g.

Hopefully it will open it up a little more.

SCMurphy Would you like to borrow my weed wacker for the weekend?

Fat Guy Pennywort's out of control too!!!

Fat Guy I think that I will be able to open up the foreground better by confining the ammennia to one side of the tank and using the front section for Sag and riccia (where the driftwood is). My angelfish will be happier. Look how much Ammennia I pulled out of my 29. I had to put it in my 38g low light where it will surely fail. Any takers? pm me if you want some.

Fat Guy Alternanthera R. and some sag

Fat Guy Did some serious trimming. I actually don't have the sunset hygro after all.

I've got Ammennia G. And a lot of it.

Just added a sprig of alternanthera and some sag and some millfoil.

I grew up in Detroit, and moved out to the suburbs with my family. Detroit will probably be rebuilt in another 20 years from the beating it took in the 80s. Corrupt mayors and cops. But it's changing. Anyway. Much love for your love of my hometown.

Fat Guy The cool thing is: I got 2 baby sprigs of that plant 1 year ago, that were in a bag with a lily, and it never died, even in my lowlight planted tanks. I even foolishly kept it with silver dollars once....mistake. Anyway. All of that hygro came from 2 quarter inch sprigs.

I don't have the heart to get rid of it. Plus, I love the way that the tetras look when they swim through it.
