Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?

Breeding Angels (Blues)

My gosh! Looks like you got up and running just in time! The fish look great. You've got me reflecting on Athens, what a nice little town!

UGA_Grad_Student I got my 60 gallon up and running. One thing that really surprised me is just how many Angels I was able to keep alive in a 10 gallon for this long. About two months maybe a week or two more in there. Around 200 angels overall. Wasn't easy with the daily water changes but worth it. The first picture is of the Angels getting adjusted to their new temporary surroundings at the LFS. The second picture is of my new setup. I am really happy with it. I ended up scraping out the entire tank, sanding and painting the stand, and adding a couple filters that were setup with two new sponge filters.

breeding the angels

We must have sexy water because every time we put male and female angels together they lay eggs. We just raised 480 (not a typo) from one clutch, we did remove the parents. This time we let the parents stay to raise and they are doing a great job of constantly attacking us when we enter the room. When we have left a breeding pair in the community tank, the stress gets to be too much and they end up eating the babies.

Betta Maniac None of the ones I see for sale anywhere look anywhere near as pretty as yours!

I couldn't be happier with them. The breeder in Augusta couldn't have been more amazing or generous. For the almost year and a half I have had em, never had problems. The breeding hasn't been a big hassle and in a couple months may start making me some money.

UGA_Grad_Student So it's been a while since I have updated about my angels. I sold the 10 that were remaining in the 20 gallon with the parents. They all looked beautiful. I still have over a 100 in my 10 gallon. However I am upgrading their standard of living to a 58 gallon tank this weekend or early next week. Pics soon to come

UGA_Grad_Student Parent Raised Tank Day 15: Everyone in that tank is growing way faster than I could have imagined. Every time I feed them, I feel like the orange dot, that is their belly, keeps getting larger. They are significantly larger than the new free swimmers I have and they are only 6 days apart. I am doing a 25% water change on them every day since it is such a small tank.
Any thoughts on if that is enough or too much??

Solo 10g Day 9: This is the second day they have been free swimmers. It is great seeing them all swim together and eat brine shrimp. This tank is already exceeding my expectations and hope to keep it that way. I did a 50% water change today and will start doing 25% every day from now on.
Any suggestions on how to clean the bottom of that tank while they are so so so small???

Also the parents of the fry in the 10g decided to lay eggs in the 55. Sorry tetras and other angel, you've just entered the thunder dome. Momma is one mean sob.

Hope ya enjoy the pics and would love thoughts on those questions

UGA_Grad_Student Yea I know...the other night I started peaking into craigslist. If I can get a 29 gallon for essentially free may just do it. My poor roommate must be getting tired of the expanding collection.

wkndracer CONGRATS!!~!
