bobsidd I'd guess it came in on some plants. It's an indoor tank and a fluval edge, so not really open to the elements. I'll keep my eyes peeled for more though. Thanks again for the help.

rodcuda Bad news, is your tank wher dragonflies ot damselflies can get to it? Or maybe it came in on some plants?

Juvenile Shrimp?

I found this fella hanging about in my shrimp tank. I'm new to shrimp, but this doesn't look like a juvenile cherry shrimp to my untrained eyes. I could be completely wrong and this is the most normal thing in the world to experienced shrimp keepers, but this looks like some alien invader in my otherwise peaceful tank.

Many thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this discovery.
