Hi fellow Washington shrimp keepers. I live in Burlington WA, currently I have blue pearl and fire red shrimp in a ten gallon low tech tank. I have two other tens that are in the process of cycling, I will be looking for the following shrimp in about three months I want to make sure the tank is fully cycled.
Maybe Carbon rilli

I've shipped over to NY a few times without any losses. Anywhere in the west is cake and they usually arrive in 2 days.

Hello I am from Bremerton. I am trying to get into shrimp keeping, but I am unsure of ordering shrimp off the internet. Fear of recieving dead shrimp that wont even make a good meal.
I am interested in what places around the seattle area has shrimp that are not overly priced for sickly looking stock.

new to Seattle WA
Hello, I'm new to the Seattle,WA area I came all the way from south FL
I currently have a couple of red cherry shrimp, most didn't make it hear alive from FL :/ I was wondering if anyone has any red cherries for sale? I recently went to a store called "The Fish Store" in the university district and they seem a bit high on the price they wanted for the shrimp.
I haven't gotten a chance to test the water here, how is the water here in WA? In FL it was insanely hard and the PH was insane. The KH was super low as well.
The tank I want to add the shrimp to is an 11.4 gallon rimless tank
Any responses and/or comments about the water here would be appreciated

Ahh thanks mjbn. I still haven't learned the whole genus species interbreeding yet.
Question. I really enjoy the crystal reds I have and would like to start getting into higher quality lines. Should I mix into colony I already have or should I start from scratch? Also I noticed some of my adults that have lost a significant amount of color; shell becomes less opaque and look generally pretty crappy. This happened after I moved tanks to my new house. Should I cull these adults or leave them alone? thank you!

|SHMaRiM||It is indeed algae. Honestly the only algae I've had in any of my tanks that I think looks awesome. Idk what kind it is, but it stays short and is bright green.|

|mjbn||What do you mean screwed? As in them interbreeding? If so, no you're fine. Cherries are neos and CRS are cardinas so they don't cross.|
