hsilive ok no super filter yet but i did get the cheap little fluval co2 kit !
installed in two mins only thing about it is you have to turn the knob to fill up the diffuser and if you dont really tighten it it leaks like 3 decent sized bubbles a minite i think ill let it empty and see how long it takes to fill that huge diffuser !

hsilive thats a estimated 26 times my water will cycle through every hour !

hsilive sorry good for up to75g and its a 4 stage 265gph !
sounds overkill to me but is it really ?

hsilive well i will have co2 tommorow and i have the stock light and two other hoods shining in the tank at the moment !

also is a canister filter too much ?
found one for 50$ rated for a 30g

Jeffww Let them float at the top of the tank. There the co2 and light is at its highest concentration.

hsilive what do you mean floating ?
01-21-2013 05:50 PM
Jeffww Leaving them floating is probably the best option really.

hsilive thanks for the info i dont think i will uproot them but i will pull them up and out a little !
ive placed hoods from two of my 5g tanks on the sides of my edge to give them some better lighting for now as well ! seems to be helping

TwoTacoCombo vals need to be planted with the crown (the part the roots connect to) slightly above the substrate. I'd snip off all but one leaf then replant them shallower, so they can have a fighting chance..

hsilive i will be ive been very busy i let then thaw in a fishless tank and then placed them asap !

Aquatic Delight vals can be pretty tough, i should have clarifed my statement to say that the leaves look dead, they vary well could recover. did you notify that shipper about it?
01-21-2013 03:45 AM
hsilive i sure hope so ! and it was close to zero when i pulled them out of the mailbox ! the heat pack was even frozen !!
01-21-2013 02:56 AM
aokashi give it a while. Ive had vals in winter 40F ish water. they can spring back to life
01-21-2013 02:29 AM
hsilive hmm i hope they are not dead that was only one day after shiping ! they did freeze in the mail but havent went dark yet !

Aquatic Delight no it won't excatly kill the plant, since those leaves look like they are already dead.
