|steveo||You will be glad you chose the 56 gallon over the 37 gallon tank. I too was making the same choice and have not regreted going with the larger of the two.|

|Blackheart||I decided to scrap that idea and go with a 56 gallon column aquarium, however. Due to being on sale for just around the same price|

Benefits of going to a 37:
You will gain a lot of water volume which would aid stability.
You would gain another 6 inches in length.
The added height would be good if you want angel fish.
The height of the tank makes planting and other maintenance jobs harder.
Need more light to reach the bottom due to the height.
I personally like the proportions of the 37 (kind of like watching a TV screen) but you are limited by the 12" depth (the same as the 25). I know I was up to my armpit in water if I had to reach down to the bottom.
My favorite tanks (proportion wise and all around usability) are the 20L, 40 Breeder, and the standard 75.

37 gallon aquarium
So I currently have a 25 gallon aquarium. I really wanted to get a much larger one, but not too large as I only have a limited amount of room. Would it be worth it to upgrade from my 25 gallon to a 37 gallon?
