I havent put up any updates because Ive neglected the tank a bit had other things in life take more time but its still running here is latest fts. As you can see the hc is gone, too much maintenance. Also changed the lights to Finnex Ray 2.

|Sd760||It looks better with no background love seeing the tree top look with the branches exposed (if that makes sense lol)|

|Wy Renegade||Very nice set-up - love the natural look. Personally I vote no background so it can be viewed from both sides.|

Holy crap! That's awesome — I love this tank! Nice work.
Also, I agree with the white background comment.

Very nice Aquascape work. You really show how one can have a nice tank on a budget.
I vote for the white background. I feel it gives a better feeling of depth. I think it makes the viewer want to look deeper into the tank.

Here is a pic of the jungle
and another one after some trimming.
I think either white background or no background works best. opinions?

|marcelishpak||The light is 3 ft diy t5 that i bought at Home depot and i just made the housing in ada solar style. A lot of the stuff on this tank I tried to do it myself but i am thinking of getting LED setup and rimless tank but thats a lot of $$$$.|

Wow, that is amazing! Really looks well done.
I'm curious on that light as well, it looks like an ADA solar, but probably much cheaper. If you can could you find the website?
