BruceF A great meeting. A talk on the Anabantoidei by a member who has accesses to all those bettas from Asia that people are always talking about. Lots of plants and fish in the mini auction. Free baby fish (Odessa barbs) for the next grow-out competition. Must have been 20 or 30 fish on display in the bowl show. Awards for previous grow out competitions, best of show bowl inhabitants, and more! Catfish that must have been 10 inches or more, rainbows almost free in the auction, shrimp, moss, sword plants boblitis …………….and more!!

Friday night Meeting, Aquarium Society

Want to come meet new friends? Want to learn more? Want to get some bargains? This Friday, November 2nd is the monthly Colorado Aquarium Society meeting. VISITORS ARE WELCOME, No charge. It starts at 7:30, although we usually get there early to inspect the fish. This month the program will be Anabantoids, Gouramis, Paradise Fish, Climbing Perch, and Bettas. One of our leading Betta and anabantoid breeders will be there to tell us about these fascinating fish. Remember that there will be a mini auction of items, fish, plants, equipment. You never know what will show up. Plus a door prize!
