LynnseyD Are these guys still available or are you willing to chat with me about a shoot?

This may come across random but I'm a fashion/editorial photographer here in Denver, and I am looking for snails for a project that is coming up.

I'm a loving animal/fish/rodent lover and would be more than glad to talk to you about purchasing a few to keep indefinitely but I'm also wondering if you'd be willing to allow your guys to be showcased in a photoshoot ..? Either way I'd love to talk to you!

I'm going to be submitting the images to magazines but for now this is just a school based project that has the potential to become something much bigger!

My contact info is:

Looking forward to hearing from you!

DenverTankCollector I am open to trades. cholla wood is always good. Send me a PM and we will find a time. I can meet you along the highwayt or you can come by and pick out what you want. 45 tanks, lots of choices.

I forgot to add that if anyone takes Canna snails, they will have to promise they will not keep them outside or in anyway allow them to get loose into the environment. They could be an invasive species if we are not careful!!! Be a responsible fish keeper!

Snails, small to very large, available in Denver/Aurora

I have an excess of Diffusa (common "mystery" snails) both large 1 1/2", and small down to newly hatched babies, and an excess of Canna snails (Pomacea canaliculata). PM me if you are interested. I am too lazy to ship, and you cannot ship Canna's anyway. If you have something interesting to trade, I am always open. If you want Cannas, then be sure you realise how large they get, up to 4-5" by some reports. Mine are the almost tennis ball sized now at 80 days old and they live up to 5 years. Cannas are not for your planted tank, they are huge eaters of anything green. Not for your nano-tank, unless your nano tank is over 20 gallons. But they make a good clean up crew for a cichlid tank where your plants are gonners anyway. They don't eat algae much, it is too small for their appetites. These guys are big enough to put a leash on and take for a (slow) walk.
