|mfskarphedin||Hm, they must have stopped. When I was there early last summer, they still had them. I emailed them after and told them I'd decided to buy all my turtle supplies online because of it. Maybe other people protested, too. Or maybe they weren't making any money off them. Well, whichever, if they stopped, then good!|

Yeah, I forgot the name of the one in Portsmouth. I remember they had an awesome fishroom at one time, loooots of awesome cichlids and good equipment. Maybe that's why the NH Aquarium Society meets there...
Anyway, yeah, I stopped shopping there as well as Zoo Creatures because of the puppy issue. I don't think Little Shop of Pets in Exeter does, though. They were really big into parrots instead. They used to have a nice selection of freshwater fish, but it's been a few years since I've been down that side of the bay.
Ok, well, looks like I'll try Pet City in Seabrook next time I'm looking for local retail plants! Thanks for the info!

|Ifferfish||The store in Seabrook is Pet City, and they do not sell puppies. Little shop of pets is the one that sell puppies, and they are north up route 1 almost into Portsmouth. They do not have any plants, and have a small fresh water selection. Mostly salt water.|

|mfskarphedin||Does the place in Seabrook (I forget the name) sell puppies? I don't shop at Zoo Creatures, because they sell puppies. I'm going to be dirting a tank later this summer, and I'd prefer to buy my plants locally if I can.|

Best Plants Around
The best place I have found in NH is Zoo Creatures in plaistow. The have the best quality and options. Pricing is fair, and they have a decent fish selection.
