ZID ZULANDER Acurel F works great when you are setting up tanks with Amano soil. When the water is cloudy. I turn on the filter and then add the drops and within about an hour or so its clear.

HighDesert Just thought I'd let you all know that Acurel-F seems to be perfectly safe with CRS and PFR. A competitor's product I'd used made them molt and the females drop eggs. None of that with your product. :-)

whickerda I bought a 3 pound bag of your carbon. My pond was full of tannins from two tropical storms in a month dumping a ton of leaves and sticks in it. It looked like strong tea. In 48 hours it was crystal clear.

HighDesert For what it's worth, the Acurel-F is awesome in conjunction with substrates like Turface. I have used it to clear up that lingering "fog" that hangs in the water and it works really quickly. I am really impressed -- I will be using Acurel products whenever I can.

EDIT: let me take that back, I use the filter fiber in my HOB's and my Zoo Med 501 canister. Go figure!
