Clone I bought my all in one regulator from glass gardens and I am happy with it.

I wouldn't want to ship a tank, but I assume that onlines probably the cheaper option for the smaller hardware.
I'm not sure what you mean. The regulator used for a 5# tank is the same used for any other tank. You couldn't have the cylinder shipped filled but that's just $5-6. That would make that aluminium tank $45 or so. Anyway well worth the price. I would inquire about the shipping cost.

Do you guys buy the regulators / needle valves locally or online?

Clone Thanks for the offer but I'm happy with my steel tank. Its not sexy but it is under the stand so it can't be seen.

Clone Man thats cheap. Did you have to give them a deposit. I don't think you can buy empty 5# aluminum cylinders for that price.

Clone The best I found was a place up here in Lockport: $65 for a 5lb cylinder-filled. I can't remember the name off hand, I will have to get back to you on that. When I called some of the Buffalo area weld shops the price range was $65 to $115 for a filled 5lb cylinder, so call around. The prices were cheaper the further you went from the suburbs. I never called any city of Buffalo places, but the most expensive places were in Amherst, go figure.

Has anyone located a cheap source of co2 tanks in the Buffalo or Western NY area?
