Planted Tank Guru

A very popular plant and it is no wonder, it is extremely easy to keep and will grow under pretty much any condition. It serves as an excellent hiding space for fish is great for filling out any tank.
Kyle Thielk
Just watch out because it will grow up and undercut other plants if not pruned regularly.

Now banned in most states after having been found to overwinter in CT, this was the best beginner stem plant. Repeated pruning will weaken the plant, but occasional pruning will help crate a bushy look. I like to plant it in bunches. Makes a good foreground plant, too, as it will trail along the bottom in lower light.
