I think that this plant grows extremely fast and tall. It seems to like my high lights. The roots grow off of the stalk, so just trim a portion off of the mother and plant the roots. Makes a good background plant, medium to high lights, good ferts and you got a beautiful plant. The reddish/green color adds a nice hue to any tank.
