Easy plant, as are most Crypts. I bought 3 pots of this plant and kept it in extremely low light for a couple of months without any problems at all. It's now planted in bright light of 2.44wpg, and it's still doing well.
This plant seems particularly prone to BBA. I've used both, H2O2 and Excel, directly on this plant without any harmful effects; however, the BBA is not dying on this particular plant for some reason. It knocks the BBA back quite a bit, but it doesn't kill it out completely. This has not been the case with other plants in my tank.
So I would avoid this one if you're fighting BBA. Otherwise, a very easy to grow plant with a clear, medium green color and nice leaf shape. Stays about 5"-6" tall and requires almost no maintenance.
