Beautiful plant, but not a fore or mid ground! It gets 24" plus high. Definitely a background plant.

Very nice plant for vertical growth. Seems easy to grow. It's done well in my tank with both, 1.44wpg and 2.88wpg, EI ferts and injected CO2.
I agree it is for background only as it does get very tall even when young. It propagates with runners, but not overly aggressive or invasive.
The leaves are very graceful and are not damaged very easily. I've "combed" it with long tweezers to straighten out the leaves, and it has never shown any damage.

So far, I love this plant. I bought a large pot with 8 individual plants which I planted in the back corner of my tank. I was advised that it tends to melt when transplanted or moved, but I've not had any problems with it other than the hair algae on the tip of a few leaves that I discovered came with it from the LFS.

I love this plant. It is extremely easy to grow as a n00b such as myself was able to grow it easily. I found out accidentally that it is easily propogated by placing a rock on the leaves, holding it down to the soil. Also has runners.
It just grows and grows no matter the damage inflicted upon it.

I thought I'd add that mine ended up growing to 36" tall! Much too tall for my tank. Some like how it will fold over the top, but it's not for me. I've heard that some trim the tops off to keep it shorter.
Mine were growing in a high light tank with ferts and injected CO2.
