Fanwort has been released into my lake in Ontario, Canada, and in a few short years has managed to wreak havoc on most of the shallow areas of the lake through it's prolific growth and choking nature. I encourage all aquarium owners to responsibly handle and dispose fish and plants to avoid this type of catastrophy in future.

Cabomba is one of my favourite plant.I have some hard time to establish its root though since it keeps on coming out of the subtrate...Good plants for beginners.

Cabomba is one of my favorites aquatic plants, needs good light and clear water, leave it float until gets root or plant it with two nodes below the gravel.

Cabomba is one of the easiest to grow plants under most conditions. After established in a higher light tank, it may become a nuisance, growing to the surface sometimes twice a week. But, this plant is a very good beginner plant too!

In my opinion it is one of the easiest plant to grow, but I had rather bad experience with it- I think it's not suitable to small tanks- if you are adding CO2 and have a good light it will grow very fast. I got rid off it because it was outgrowing all my plants in just couple of days. But oterwhise, it's a very beautiful and easy to maintain plant- juzt keep the water clean so you don't get it clogged.

I love this plant. It can be a little invasive, which is why I reccomend only buying it for a High tech tank if you are prepared for a lot of pruning! In it's native south America it is eaten as a vegetable.

For me this is moderate easy plant. For with low light it almost died. Also if I moved it I lost stems. Since I added a 65 Watt Dual 6700K White/10000K daylight bulb it is growing.

I have also noticed that it can brown at the base yet the rest of the plant appears healthy.

Another easy plant to produce cuttings from & save me money.

Good choice if you like a lot of greenery & the fantails enjoy it as salad too!
