I have had one of these about four months. I don't have C02 injection. and I don't really add other nutrients. but there is high light and it has put out sevral new red leaves in the time I have had it. I just re-aquascaped and noticed it has new roots as well. Very pretty easy plant.

Beautiful plant and seems quite hardy.
From personal observation/experience, keep an eye on your pH though. Our tank's pH was in the 6.2-6.5 range for a while (depending on which tester we used). The plant hung in there with stems becoming mushy and eventually falling off the rest of the plant. This was happening steadily for approximately 2 months or so. What did seem to remedy this issue was when the pH was raised to the 7+ range.
Another observation is how the leaves have since grown in more red with a higher pH. Maybe it's just coincidence that our lighting setup was just changed, too, though..
