Needs soft water, high light and nutrient rich substrate. The stems are very fuzzy and leaves can turn purple given the proper light requirements.
Makes a great foreground bush.

i have a total of 30W in my 46 gallon tank (probaly using 40 G of water) couple with the light emitting from my living room was enough to turn its leaves purple lol.
