Planted Tank Guru
|
An extremely attractive aquatic plant circled by lime green, feathery branched leaves.
Under good growing conditions with added CO2 and nutrients this plant grows fast.
Propagation is easy, it forms horizontal side shoots from the base of rooted plant, with proper trimming becomes attractive and bushy.
It sometimes sends shoots above the water surface, forming beautiful small blue flowers.
Can be kept under control with less light.
Note: As with any aquatic plant, please be responsible by disposing of clippings appropriately. This is a noxious weed, but is still no less a fantastic aquatic plant.
The 3 photos were all taken at the same time from the same plant/tank,
I was/am growing them at this moment under Metal Halide/150w over my 29g.
