Planted Tank Gooroo
|
If you see one, buy it! Beautiful little fish that easily does well in a community setting. Mine resides in my 75gallon planted tank with over 40 tankmates as varied as a discus to a synodontis angelicus.

This fish is very unreasonable in price. it a very nice little fish but one for the wealthy. Its in the same league as the puntius denisoni.
jay
A hardy little shoaling fish that behaves much like most other characins. It IS expensive, but it's attractive and small enough where it'll probably be bred fairly often and come down in price, consequently.

Great looking, hardy shoaling fish. Not very active, but doesn't hide(unless it's being picked on). Not a good mix with small asian shoaling fish like danios, whiteclouds and barbs. Also, it's a little over-priced, but I think of a fish of this nature will eventually saturate the market.

It's a characin, unlikely to be bred in large quantity for some time. However, it is a beautiful fish, and the price reflects that.
