Make for a great community fish. Look great in large schools. Only recently have they become very popular and their price can sometimes be very high.

A beautiful fish that should be kept in a shoal of 5 or more. The colours intensify as it matures, with briliant red dash on the frontal sides and surrounding the eyes as well as the tip of fin. A linear dark line and yellow spots on its scissors tail distinguish this fish from others, and it is a true beauty as a school of adults strictly fit for large tanks.

These guys are wonderful. Very peaceful too. Color is awesome and as they get older the scales get a greenish tint to it. I think the greenish tint varies from fish to fish because I have some small ones that have developed the greenish tint while my large one still doesn't have that tint yet.
The price is still a bit high but if you can manage to keep them alive you'll never regret the price.
