I got a couple of baby marble angelfish 5 months ago and I think they are almost fully grown by now. I had to get a bigger tank in the meantime. They are very nice to watch because they swim unlike other fish, they kind of hover and go in reverse like spacecrafts. Although adults will eat neon tetras, I was told that you can 'train angels' to be peaceful with smaller fish if you introduce them when they are still small. That was true, my tetras grew pretty big in the bigger tank. I recently introduced 3 new neons who were half as small as my others, and the next day they could not be found. That was too bad, but I am very happy with my big marble angelfish and recommend them for big tanks!

I absolutely love my angel.I enjoy watching her for hours on end, especially when its feeding time. She whipps around like a little rocket. I have never seen mine eat the neons that are in with her. But I think thats because she associates the hood opening with food, and I never open the hood and then dump them right in. I take it off feed her and leave it off for afew hours. Then I add the neons, and presto. Then in the morning I put the hood back on and feed her again. It works for me.

I have had my largest Angel for about two and a half years. She's grown pretty large, and I've bought 3 more this past month. I put one in her tank and the other two in another tank. These fish are amazing, and I hope that I will be able to set up a larger tank in the future and house a whole school of them.

This fish is amazing, i have had my gold male angelfish for 8 or 9 months. When i purchased him he was maybe 1 or 2 months old. Now hes fully grown and the "King" of my community 20gal tank. They are a semi-aggressive fish. They will have small disputes with other fish of there sizes if they're competeing for food or space. The interesting thing about them is if you stare from a distance at the tank, the angelfish will notice you and flutter up the front of the tank. They are very amusing fish. They accept both live and dry foods. Brine shrimp, bloodworms, tubiflex worms, flys, earwigs, flakes, vegie waffers but not spiders for some reason.I highly recommend this fish for anyone with enough room to accomidate this fish. 20gal is minimum. With this fish you wont regret buying it. In fact you'll want more!

I have started a community tank with my Angelfish being the kings of the tank. They are just a little bigger the a dime at this point. I have 3 Zebra's and 3 Marbels. They are absolutely wonderfull to watch at this age. I am hearing alot of things about them becoming aggressive with each other as they get older. I hope that this will not happen with mine. I am trying to get a breeding pair out of the 6 angles I have. I have a 75 gallon tank. In it I have 6 neons, 2 corey cats, 5 Red Molleys and 4female guppys and 2 male guppys. This is an aqsome set up. Every morning I get up the first thing I do is check on my babies. I am going to enjoy this time for I know one day they will be all grown up. I had two Oscar fish that got huge I tried to breed them. but had little luck with the eggs. Was able to trade the Oscars for the Angles. Man am I glad I did!!!!
