I have a school of this fish and they are very playful especially when feeding time. They always got trouble with my other fish when they are chasing each other. They seemed to get more calm and quiet when they grow older.

I have a few Congos, they remain still most of the time (easy to photograph) mine tend to stay out front most of the time. They LOVE shrimp pellets. I like to watch them grab the pellet in their mouth and try to play keep away from the other fish and each other.

Ive been keeping these fish for years and will probably continue to do so for many years to come. The Males colors and finnage are very pleasing to the eye. If you want to see a show, just drop in a live insect such as small moth or fly...very cool fish.

Now there is an albino form as I did get and see one for the first time ever. Identical to the regular congos, it features similar striking flashes and a true albino gene, as one can see fron the strange but beatiful eyes.
