These little guys are a hardy bunch. They tend to do well in pairs or quads and coupe well in my community tank. They do attack and sometimes eat neon tetras but they are worth it.

I have two of these guyes and they are so cute to watch. They always come up to the glass when I look in the tank.

I have a pair of these in my 50G community tank and sometimes they may have a dispute with my large angels but never any damage done! They love sifting through the gravel too, easily one of thier favourite pastimes!

We have a male Bolivian in a 20G tank with 8 neon tetras and an amano shrimp. He's a really beautiful fish with subtle iridescent spots. He's also very curious and comes to the front of the tank to watch me as I watch him, even "pecking" at my fingertips against the glass. He hasn't harmed the tetras at all and in fact likes sitting with them in their school. He prefers grain food over flake (he'll often spit flake back out), and though I've read that Bolivians prefer feeding at the bottom (which he does) he often comes to the surface at feeding time. This is a delightful little fellow- definitely the most interesting fish I've had the pleasure of caring for.

I have four of them in my 55 gallon. They are very peaceful and they are quit nice to watch eating and playing. I have them in with three clown loaches and two green severms. They do no damage to the plants and are a great plus to the tank.

I recently bought a couple because I enjoyed watching the way they swim, with how they suddenly stop dead in their tracks then continue on. Now that they've settled in a bit the one with the larger amount of black in the front of its dorsal fin seems to bully the other. Often running into its side around its spot.
