Just make sure you have either small and non sharp gravel,or sand. Since cories are bottom feeders make sure food gets to them, sinking warfers will do. 15 Gallons is the minimum tank size in my oppinion. Sterbai Cories like planted tanks with open spaces and they are often spotted scavenging in the day time. Provide a few hiding places for them to get their sensitive eyes away from the lights. I have 8 Sterbai Cories in my 55 gallon tanks and they are moving non stop, also living with my discus, one of the few cories that can live in high temperatures. I have spotted them at $20 each once, but if you know where to get good deals, i got 6 for $30 at another store.

Got a baby one for about 8 bucks. He's like a happy little vacuum cleaner, scavenging night and day. He even seems to get loose bits of algae off of the plant leaves. No regrets about this guy at all.

This is indeed one of the most beautiful corys. With age, their yellow fins get more and more obvious. I love corys - and you'll find they are much more active on a black substrate!
