Algae Crumpler
|
They need a mix of food from sinking algae tabs to frozen foods and even live worms and shrimp. They also do a great job of cleaning up after a feeding frenzy. Got algae? corys will feast on it.

Algae Grower

I have only had these a couple of weeks. So far they seem to swim in the middle more then other cories. They also try to swim "out" of the glass a lot (swimming with thier nose against the glass). They do like to rest on driftwood and plants when not swimming. They are easily scared but will come out for food. Mine have been eating flakes that my other fish miss as well as tablets. I have been trying to get some live worms for them. They currently share a tank with a rubbernose pleco, "san juan" cories, cardinal tetras, and a pair of apisto boreilli.
Other common names for them: reticulated corydoras, network cory, netted cory, mosaic cory. (other fish share some of these common names)
