I bought 2 of these fishes from a local fish store I asked if I could to get a male and female. When I brought them back within a month I saw fry. They have bred probably 8 times each time I only ever saw 1-6 fry. I didn’t feed the fry apart from dropping shrimp pellets down where they where. I had the pair in a twenty gallon with 4 other neolamp. multifasciatus the store owner suspected that once the juli's bred there would be territorial issues. Luckily with the 30 + shells and many rocks (I had created 2 dense piles of rocks with low light plants as well) I had almost no issues. No ripped fins nothing. The fish unfortunately died off in a heater issue but their fry have grown up nicely. The fry grow amazingly slow it’s been about 6 months and the oldest ones are just about 1.5 inches.
