i have monosolenium in my tank and its a magnificent plant once established which will take a while it looks like giant riccia and pearls almost constantly, the only problem with it is that its brittle and untill well established parts of it will be found floating about all across your substrate, except for this its a splended plant and a worthwhile addition to any tank

Such great plant, a very small portion was accidently transported into my tank from an unknown source, probably clinged to one of the plants I had purchased. I was very happy to find out what it was ,and it has been growing quite nicely in a medium lighted shrimp tank, they love this to nibble on this stuff. I would say it is quite an easy plant to take care of, like I previously mentioned, it must have traveled along with another plant I had purchased, it began as such a small piece that I didnt even take notice untill it started to grow! They make such a fantastic forground plant, attached it to driftwood, rocks, or just leave a clump on the substrate and let it grow, you may want to spread it around a bit once established, they like to grow in ball like clumps. You can also trim it ,and shape it whatever way you want, Great plant species!

I bought pellia from aquatic magic which I've heard mentioned in these forums a lot. It looked okay when it got here but now it's seems to be dying and it won't attach itself to any rocks I tie it to before the shrimp break the thread I use (about 3 - 5 weeks). It's turning a dark brown color and I'm unsure of what to do, I really wanted this plant for my shrimp to hide under.
