Unique stem plant with "needle-shaped" leaves. Prefers soft, acidic water but is adaptable to hard water, as well. Meristem seems to suffer when there is an iron deficiency. Loves lots of light and CO2. Propagation by budding stems.
FYI We have variants of this plant in America. I found these growing by the thousands in an Alpine lake, in 55-60 F degree water. Brought them home and put them in my 76 F degree aquarium. I swear to you they have grown over 6 inches in only 4 days!!!! Fastest growing plant I have ever come across. And this is right after introducing them to way higher temps. Very hardy plant. A lot of fake plastic plants for sale are mimicked after this species. I do have pressurized co2 with 7pH, 80ppm Alkalinity, 150ppm GH. 2.5wpg, 40 PAR at surface.
