This plant is better suited as a marginal pond plant. It will grow like a weed out of the water. Striker High light make this plant to stay low-growing, low light make it grow very tall (5"+) as well as more brittle. aquatic_dynasty

It is easy to keep and propagate them, not hard.

its use as food in my culture and my neighbor introduce it all over the place lol, i just go out and grab a bunch, really hardy plant and it will tilt toward the light no mater what, i lazily planted mine sideways and the next day it was facing up.

I had this plant a week and I have lots of new shoots I would say it's a fast grower in good light with co2 and ferts. When I got mine most of it was dead so I cut off the dead parts and planted the good parts and it is growing like mad. Very cool plant.

Plecos will quickly consume this plant if you neglect their daily veggies. Trust me on this one. Apparently it's delicious.

Fast growing, easy to keep plant, but becomes uprooted easily due to the lack of a proper root system.
