I love this plant. I bought a small pot of it a little while ago, and in about 2 months I have triple the ammount of plants I started with! It looks really great underneath my Echinodorus red diamond, creating an 'illusion' of lots of little echinodorus surrounding one bigger one from a distance! When grown in open spaces, the leaves tend to lie flat on the substrate. Great little plant, 10/10!
i bought tis plant and place it in a shallow tank. it actually looks more of a basin! after 2-3 weeks the plant has grown out of water and produce pretty white flowers. great for lowlighted tanks and best with killifishes
This is a beautiful low growing plant with leaves that are rich in color and texture, it will also do well in almost any planted aquarium, so give it a try and you won't be disappointed. This is a low light plant but one of the faster growing and very bushy or thick Cryptocoryne so it does need a little room to grow.
Like all variations of crypt wendtii, this plant doesn't respond to being uprooted well. It can also melt during excess excel dosing, Key is to up the dose gradually. It is a very, very nice foreground plant.
