Parva is unproblematic to grow, and like most Sri lanka Cryps, it adapts well to a wide variety of freshwater parameters. Most important thing is a fertile substrate, stability, and plenty of patience.
Love this plant. It does not seem to succumb to the classic crypt melt when replanted, but it grows extremely slow. I planted this when my son was a freshman in high school, he is now a junior and I swear it has only grown two new leaves per plant in that time. Okay, I am exaggerating....but not much.
Love these little Crypts, great in nanos/foreground as stated above. Even in my high tech setup these plants grow very slowely. In my experience they will flatten out in high light, but it will take them longer to adjust. 1 to no crypt melt on re-planting, I've moved mine a few times and these little plants never seem to care.
