This is the prettiest Pleco ever. They are also cute. They roll small rocks in their mouth to clean them. They are one of the best plecos for cleaning algea. They are kind of more like larg otos. They like to be kept in groups. Don't pass this fish up they are great.
I just got 3 of these guys. They are very active scouring my tank for algae and bio film. They like to roll a piece of gravel in their mouth to clean it. When I added them to my tank my single lonely otocinclus came over and hung out with them they all get along well and they usually follow eachother around while scouring for algae. They can change color from a mottled grey to a dark brown. 2 of mine are grey all the time while the 3rd is dark brown all the time.
