very very beautiful fish. give them a well planted tank and they look amazing. the males are more of a golden orange color.one of my more active and more aggressive tetras. keep them in groups of at least 6 because they can get nippy towards other members of the school and other fish if not. but they are extremely hardy from my experience. great fish overall for the beginner and experienced aquariast.
Bettacrazy hit the nail on the head. These are quite the aggressive little fish. I would say despite there size they should receive a larger tank else their demeanor will thin your tanks ranks out. I would personally not do them in something smaller than a 4 ft or 55 gallon tank. Even then they are pesky. This is offset by their brilliant coloration though, its one you'll be sure to enjoy.
