Beautiful fish. I've seen them spawning a couple times in my 40 gallon long tank. Soft water, no CO2, pH in the mid 6 range. They're very energetic, and aggressive eaters. Have not seen them hassling other fish, but there seems to be some fin nipping among themselves during spawning times.
I just got 3 and put them with my 3 Bloodfin Tetras today. They joined in on the fun right away and had a good snack. They don't seem to be as schooling as the Bloodfin Tetras
