Planted Tank Obsessed

Aquatic Gardens in Saginaw
Head down Tittabawasse in Saginaw a ways and you'll find the shop just outside the main shopping areas. Stopped in today to see what they had, as I remember going there a long time ago when I got my first tank (back then it was called The Porthole or something to that nature). For being called "aquatic gardens" they didn't have too many plants, but man, if you need cichlids this is the place. Bought some java moss (good sized chunk for 6 bucks, its 3 bucks for a little bit) and browsed for a good while at their saltwater selection.
Good stuff

This is a pretty nice store, I agree that for being called aquatic gardens its pretty disappointing as far as plants goes. They do have a nice selection of cichlids, not the greatest as far as New Worlds go but a good selection of Africans for the most part. They have a cool salt section too. They can be kinda pricey on some items, and extremely reasonable on others. Overall I like the store, definitely one of the better shops in the area. The Bay City/Saginaw area really doesnt have a whole lot to offer from LFS's, especially when it comes to plants.
