Aquarium Warehouse 13 and Dequindre

I just stopped by a new aqurium store called The Aquarium Warehouse on dequindre between 13 and 14 mile road. The store is in the Red Run industrial building. I found the staff there to be very friendly and helpful. They don't carry plants yet-they plan to this fall- they just opened about two months ago and haven't had a demand for plants - But they did have some cherry shrimp! They also had low prices on thier tanks, as they maufacture them there!

Cool I'm right down the road at 10 and Dequinder. I always love checking out the new shops. I'll have to swing by and check it out.

I bought a 120 from them a couple weeks ago, Great Prices on tanks!!! Very happy with my experience there!

I just contacted them about a 24" cube tank, hope the price is right. I can't see paying $115 or $200 for freight charges from Tennessee for their Glass and Acrylic cubes!

agreed on a great place. Staff was really nice to talk to. I got a nice deal on my 130gal. Also picked up some driftwood and I'm talking to the staff member to see if he can get some ADA amazonia.

Hope to get there myself one of these days now that I've seen this thread. I'm in Cadillac and we don't even have one fish store much less a place to buy tanks. Closest to me is PetSmart in Traverse City.

I just stopped in today and its a bit unnerving as its not a real storefront its in waht looks like a wharehouse/storage place. definatly a nice place to go if your looking to buy tanks/stands. pretty cheap prices. they didnt have alot of fish or plants. i talked to the guy working there and he wasy he wants to change a bank of his tanks to planted tanks and set up a display tank soon.
we will see. I got a quote on a 110 gallon tank with a wood stand and glass tops for a little under 400. not bad as its a nice looking stand and tank. (lots cheaper than my normal place) i was drooling as i have a 55 and its twice as wide and im thinking i could do cool things in it.
i did ask about the cherry shrimp you all said he had and he told me that was a one time thing where somone brought them in and asked him to sell them for him

Cherry shrimp all over all the place. If you need some just yell on the forums.

I stopped in last week...wasn't very impressed. I don't remember seeing any freshwater fish to speak of...some salt. They did have lots of tanks, used and new and what seemed like good prices.
