Sorry this is not a area I have expertise so I don't want to lead you wrong. I actually have not had to treat a case of ick since being a teenager which was 40+ years ago. Post your question in the forum under general or fish and you will get answers. Catching a fish in a fully planted tank can be a real challenge also. Even trying while doing a 50% water change has found me unsucessful sometimes.

Bugman whats your advise on treating ick in a 55g planted with c02? I tried getting out the dam thing i cant catch it also what about quickcure ?
